United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) contracted INTEGEMS to undertake environmental monitoring in accordance with an Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP) that was agreed under the terms and conditions of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Licence issued by the EPA-SL to UNOPS. INTEGEMS worked with the UNOPS Project Work Team to implement the key monitoring requirements identified in the EMP through the ESIA study during the construction and operational phases of the Project Work, including:

ü  Water quality monitoring;

ü  Air quality monitoring;

ü  Ambient noise monitoring;

ü  Traffic monitoring; and

ü  Compilation and submission of monthly environmental monitoring reports.
