Dohine is an experienced environmental practitioner with over two years of professional experience in the private sector, specializing in Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), community engagement, resettlement planning, project implementation, and ongoing project support. His work has contributed to the successful delivery of numerous development projects across Sierra Leone, where he has provided practical and sustainable solutions to environmental and social challenges. Before transitioning into the environmental sector, Dohine spent more than nine years as a physics teacher in both public and private schools. This background has equipped him with excellent interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of working with individuals from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. In his current role, Dohine has led and supervised a wide range of projects, demonstrating strong competencies in applying both national and international standards, including the IFC Performance Standards, the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF), and ISO Management Systems. He brings a comprehensive understanding of local socio-economic dynamics, with expertise in social impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and community relations. Dohine holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Management and Quality Control from Njala University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pure and Applied Sciences from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
