She has demonstrable knowledge in Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessments (ESHIA); Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E); Environmental and Natural Resources Management; Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing; Data and Information Management Systems (IMS);Geo-scientific Data and Information Management ; Ambient noise control, Air and Water quality Assessment; Geology and Mineral Exploration.Her technical skills and competencies include: Joomla; Microsoft Access, MySQL; PostgreSQL/PostGIS; survey application software’s (Open Data Kit, GeoODK, and Survey Solutions).

Unis has provided technical support for the successful delivery of ESIA, EIA and ESHIA Projects including the EIA study for the Freetown Emergency Recovery Project - Landslide Remediation for UNOPS, and the Climate Change Risk Management and Capacity Assessment for the Water Sector Project in Sierra Leone for UNDP.

Unis holds a BSc Degree in Pure and Applied Sciences with a major in Geology from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
