
Samuella Faulkner is a multi-skilled consultant with 10 working years of expertise in the public and private sectors in various leadership, management, and technical roles. She has profound knowledge skills expertise and experience in Research Monitoring & Evaluation; Environmental and Social Safeguard Management; Livelihood Restoration and Resettlement; Community Relations and Stakeholder engagement; Capacity Building, Project Management, Proposal, and Report Writing, Data Management, and Statistical Analysis. In addition, she has a blend of experience in research survey monitoring and evaluation and data collection and analysis working with Microsoft Excel, Access, Business Intelligence and SPSS statistical software package.
Her competencies also include designing and developing survey questionnaires for mobile data collection using Open Data Kit (ODK), Survey123, and Fulcrum software. She currently works as a Senior Consultant and Operations Manager at
Samuella has a working knowledge and experience with both local and international Environmental and Social Impact Assessment requirements and compliance guidelines principles and frameworks including IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, Environmental Health and Safety Guidelines working on projects funded by donor agencies such as the World Bank, UNDP and the International Financial Corporation.
She has effectively supervised, coordinated and contributed to various development projects and assignments including Third Party Monitoring and Data Collection for UNDP Projects in Sierra Leone including Integrated Results and Resources Framework; Multi City Hazard Review and Risk Assessments and Damage and Loss Assessment for the World Bank; Environmental and Social Impact Assessment/ Abbreviated Resettlement Action Plan for Copperbelt Energy Corporation Africa-Sierra Leone; Climate Change Risk Management and Capacity Assessment for the Water Sector in Sierra Leone; Update of Sierra Leone Hazard Profile and Capacity Gap Analysis; Consulting Services for the Establishment of a Baseline Database of the Environmental Component of the Côte d'Ivoire-Liberia-Sierra Leone and Guinea (CLSG) Project Area in Sierra Leone; Environmental and Socio-Economic Impact Survey (ESIS) of Keimadugu Community within Shandong Steel (SL) Limited’s Tonkolili Iron Ore Project; and Support to Communication and Dialogue on Early Warning and Forecasting Products and Climate Information in Sierra Leone. She had previously worked in the corporate communications industry like Tigo, Africell, Airtel and Ericsson managing national and international technical data.
Samuella holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Pure and Applied Sciences majoring in Biology and Statistics from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
